Straight Back Wall Supports
Giraffe Bracing's Straight back wall supports are made of 14 gauge, rolled edge, galvanized steel. The Giraffe ICF Bracing straight backs stack together, making storage and transportation easier. The rolled edges make it easier on the hands and tougher against bending. Slots in the braces are every 4" o.c. and will work with all ICF brands.
Superior Turnbuckles & ICF Wall Alignment
Our engineered, all internal steel turnbuckle system is unique and ensures smooth and speedy ICF wall alignment. Precision manufactured with a central 3/4" zinc-plated, threaded rod, protected inside the diagonal braces ensures a rust-, debris-, concrete- and maintenance-free system. No thread clean-up required EVER!
Phenomenal Racking System
The industry's first Racking System for ICF Bracing Systems was designed by Giraffe. This rack holds 20 sets of bracing and has a spot for everything. With a glance, you can ensure that every component of your Giraffe ICF Bracing System is accounted for.
Superior Walking Platform with Removable Guardrails
On the Giraffe ICF Bracing System, our exceptionally designed walking platform is easily installed in seconds and our snap in guard rails are designed to be removable so you only have to use them when you need them. The Giraffe ICF Bracing System is designed as a complete scaffolding system for ICF walls.
Gravity Pin Attachments
No Nuts or Bolts! Our Heavy Duty and high quality zinc-plated gravity pins make assembly of the Giraffe ICF Bracing System quick and easy. With Giraffe’s built-in removable storage trays the gravity pins are easy to keep track of on the ICF construction site.
Additional Giraffe ICF Bracing System Features Include:
- Stamped (not welded) foot plates for long life allows for a 2nd tall wall diagonal brace
- Bracing components are made with heavy walled steel painted with epoxy powder coated paint (bright yellow for safety)
- 14 ga. steel used for Straight-Backs up to 10' tall and 13ga. steel for 12' straight backs
- Folding platform brackets have a unique snap-open alignment mechanism
- Optional Straight-Back coupler lock to increase the bracing height for tall wall set-ups
- Self-locking gravity pins for simple assembly
- ¾” zinc plated internal threaded adjustment rod never needs cleaning

Giraffe ICF Bracing 101
Giraffe’s Turnbuckle ICF bracing system was developed in the early 2000’s, and is now an industry icon, available across North America & the World. Every major ICF manufacturer strongly recommends turnbuckle bracing, and some even sell ICF Bracing Systems at a cost that hopefully encourages ICF Contractors to use it systematically.
The Giraffe ICF bracing system includes a straightback (A), adjustable leg with internal screw (B), stamped footplate (C), platform bracket (D), safety rail (E) and self- locking gravity pins (F).
